Welcome to the Community Portal of CRAVE Wiki.


This is the central place to find out what are the guidelines for editing this wiki.

It has 121 articles and everyday it gets updated.


Although this Wiki is intended to document all that is done in DUCS and CRAVE it is maintained and administered by the CRAVE Team. The Documentations department of CRAVE and Text Engineering Group of DUCS work in collaboration to maintain & moderate CRAVE wiki. Only DUCS and CRAVE members may edit and add articles to this wiki. If you would like to contribute do not hesitate to contact the Project Manager of CRAVE at crave@donboscoit.ac.in.


This wiki is still a very much work in progress therefore we invite students of DBIT to help us enrich this knowledge base and structure it.

Guidelines for editing DUCS and CRAVE Wiki

The DUCS and CRAVE wiki have been divided into the following Sections as shown on the Navigation bar. The Main page, Community Portal, DUCS and CRAVE Listing may not be edited by any other person other than the Administrator himself.


Users are invited to edit others articles to make it more rich in terms of information. This community is build on trust so it is expected that all users are not to be publishing inappropriate matter on their own as well as other's articles.


You are also promising us that you wrote the article yourself, or copied it from a public domain or similar free resource.

DO NOT SUBMIT COPYRIGHTED WORK WITHOUT PERMISSION!


CRAVE & DUCS Documents

It includes manual, guides and useful information on workshops, Seminars, Projects undertaken by DUCS and CRAVE.

Any useful document related to DUCS and CRAVE may be uploaded here.


Tutorials

DUCS and CRAVE team use various application to complete their tasks. This section gives information of the application the team uses. Every softwares is presented with installation guide, tutorial or links to tutorials and some tips and tricks making that application even more effective.

The users are encouraged to add all the softwares and the necessary information about it under this section.


Some Useful HOW-TOs

As the title reads this section is Step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish a specific task. It may be a simple bug or a problem solution. It may be a workaround for a certain task. Since at the CRAVE lab each day members tweak configuration to best suite their needs, these How-tos can also help anybody facing the same problem.

Right from restoring a GRUB to changing the MAC address this list as it all. A very useful place for a beginner!!!


Some Useful Links

The last section but never the least it contains many useful links from online ebooks to useful information. A great place to be for someone who wants to learn cool stuff.

Any thing which is interesting and is related to our area of work can be put up here by the users.
