Intra lan radio

Ever wanted to run your own FM Transmitter? But didn't know whom to ask?
Now you can. Fresh out now, CampCaster 1.2.1:
http://www.campware.org/en/camp/campcaster_news/
This is *production* software for running a Radio station. Yes, you got that right. They're deploying it in Sierra Leone, Hungary and elsewhere.
Why is this exciting?
India has this concept of Community radio stations, especially by colleges. Now you can, with this software, set up your radio station for very little *software* cost. That means you pay only for the hardware.
But what if you want to play with it? You're not going to buy a FM transmitter are you?
Well, actually you are. Turns out that you can now get small FM transmitters as USB. But these are expensive (about 2000-3000), so we suggest you buying the wireless headsets you get for your TV and plugging it in your sound card for the time being.
And of course, the beauty is that people running Debian based distros (read Ubuntu too) can get it very easily.
